One way to attract more abundance into our lives is to be truly grateful for what we already have! Are there ways to sort and arrange the objects in our homes that reflect this gratitude? Check out these tips creating goals and guidelines about what to surround ourselves with to increase the energy of gratitude in our homes and attract even more abundance into our lives!
What is gratitude? Gratitude is a feeling of thankfulness and being thankful occurs when you are glad that something has or has not happened, or that something or someone exists, etc. (according to Merriam-Webster at m-w.com). When you look around your home and examine your life, have you surrounded yourself with things that you are grateful for? Do the people, objects and activities in your life bring you joy, delight, or satisfaction?
What emotions do you relate to gratitude/a state of gratefulness/thankfulness? When you look around your space, does what you see bring up the emotions that you relate to gratitude?
The first step in emphasizing feelings of gratitude in your home is to determine your goals. What feelings do you want to bring more of into your life? How are these related to gratitude? When we express our gratitude for what we already have in our lives, it opens the door to bring in more abundance of what we desire.
Once you get clear on your goals, it will be easier to clear out all the clutter that does not fit into your life, that does not bring you joy.
Once the clutter is cleared out, consider adding one or more of the following:
- a vision board to express the emotions and images associated with what you are grateful for and what you would like more of in your life
- an altar or 3-D vision board to express the above
- colors that bring you feelings of joy and gratitude
- essential oils that uplift your mood or energy level, or
- music that brings you joy
When you acknowledge & express gratitude in your life, the energy related to what you are grateful for will increase… How will you express gratitude in your surroundings?
